Singer was born on November 26, 1986 on the 26th of November, 1986 in Santa Monica California. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo Barba and mother Valerie Barba. At the age of six, her family relocated to Point Pleasant New Jersey. As for her education she finished her education at Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. Then she attended Catholic University, where she received a diploma in architecture. Additionally, she began playing the violin around age four, and was known as the Violin Girl.
