Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe came from a multicultural family. Born within South London. Her father and mother are both English. She was raised in a council estate south of London. When she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was obtained. In her time at the school, she performed in a variety of stage productions including King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Following this acclaim, she played Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured on six of the episodes Trexx and Flipside. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi who was the leading character on ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe debuted in the US by presenting The Beautiful Life. The drama program ran on The CW for only two episodes, before it was removed from the air. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe's departure from the series was announced in May 2013. Following two seasons as the main character she was a guest in the very first episode of season 3. Madekwe starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem from 2014 to the year 2016. From June to July 2012, she married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He was also a part of the cast with Madekwe in Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by an extended family. Her parents were Patty and Roy Leggat. Her parents, Roy and Patty and the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's brothers, who were all very athletic, played hockey in the winter and baseball during the summer, so she basically grew up in baseball and arenas. Ashley had never been able to actually walk. She was a dancer. When she reached two and a half when she was a little older, she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered a love for dancing shortly after she joined Baby Ballet. After graduating from high school, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in ballet, tap, jazz pointe, acrobatics lyrical, musical theatre and hip hop. Every major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the distinction of "top Soloist".
